I stayed at this hostel in the Chinatown area and had a great experience overall! The location is super convenient — just a short walk from the MRT stations, Chinatown Point, lots of great restaurants, and easy souvenir shopping spots. I checked in around 7 PM and had already informed the staff ahead of time. They were quick to reply and confirm everything, and the reception was still open when I arrived. For my booking, I originally had 2 nights in a mixed dorm (it was the only room available during those dates) and 3 nights in the female dorm. But when I landed in Singapore, I saw that the hostel had messaged me (shoutout to Nelson!) suggesting they could move me to the female dorm for the entire stay. I really appreciated that! I was assigned an upper bunk at first, but on my 3rd day, they kindly transferred me to a lower bunk — so grateful for that small but thoughtful gesture. The female dorm had its own shared space by the windows where you could open or store large suitcases. Each bed had a deep locker underneath, big enough for your things. There’s a fridge where you can store food, a microwave for reheating, and free coffee and tea laid out in the common area. The bathrooms and rooms were always clean — thanks to the hardworking staff — and all of them were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. Bathrooms-wise, I think each cubicle had both a toilet and a shower, but I personally preferred using the ones on the 3rd floor since they felt a bit more private than the ones on the 2nd floor. Breakfast in the mornings was simple but appreciated — toast, spreads, coffee, cereal, and both dairy and non-dairy milk options.

The day to day staff is helpful and well mannered. The guy from India was pretty amazing, he helped me out with all the questions I got. The manager is not well trained/prepared to deal with customers. Perhaps managerial work is his thing but keep him away from the customers. He lack manners and can't communicate to customers in a professional/polite way, his attitude comes off as aggressive/intolerant/completely out of place giving the fact this is a hostel with mostly international customer's with different languages, cultures, accents not a military centre. . I already mentioned the incident in another review I left on the other wink so I won't do it twice but see the other reviews where other people complaint about his behaviour so he's definitely an issue. The space is pretty small and wall are pretty thin, some people were making calls as early as 7am and they didn't care if others were asleep. They were speaking very loudly. Another thing that I disliked was male and females bathrooms/showers are mixed. I did very much like the wink at the mosque street better. Thank you guys for your kind hospitality.

The common CR is clean. Free breakfast though it’s only bread, coffee, milk chocolate drink and cereals everyday. Common kitchen is clean. You can put your food inside the ref. The capsule room esp the beds is good enough for 2 persons each capsule. The place is very near the shopping area and food establishments and also the MRT. It is easy to find since it is beside the street. It has a nearby Hop on Hop off stop also! The staff are also nice! They change the towels every now and then. We stayed for 5 nights. Each capsule bed has its own charging station and light. The Aircon is cool and we can also dry our shoes beside the windows.

This was a fantastic location in the middle of China Town which made having dinner late at night so easy and then so convenient and quick to get home. It was also situated right across the road from the underground/train and so getting anywhere was so easy - we also walked to a lot of places as we were so central. Our room was small but the beds were extremely comfortable and cosy. My family and I shared a 4 person room and we had our own bathroom which was clean. The staff were so efficient and helpful and let us leave our bags in storage on the day or our departure after check out. The area felt safe.

We are a big group of 16 family members. We stayed at Wink for 1 night. The location was perfect as it was walking distance to the subway station and near many restaurants. The rooms and private bathrooms were clean. The shared bathroom are clean enough but could be better. Breakfast is included which our children appreciated. The staff are very friendly and accomodating to requests. They let us leave our luggages before check-in and even after check out. Overall the whole experience is pleasant and will recommend to others.
